# The Thriving Wellness: Growing Website Traffic for a Wellness Brand in Singapore (2023 Snapshot)

## The client

The Thriving Wellness is a wellness brand in Singapore whose website runs on Squarespace. In spring 2023 the site was barely visited, and the brand wanted it to become a real channel for new customers.

## The problem

In April 2023 the website drew 63 visits and 53 unique visitors in the whole month, so almost nobody outside the existing audience was finding the brand online.

## What we did

- **Clear objectives.** Three agreed goals: more web traffic, more unique visitors, and a consistent online presence.
- **New audiences.** May's work expanded into new target audiences while keeping the brand in front of its existing one.
- **Monthly reporting.** Visits, unique visitors, page views and bounce rate compared month on month, with the next month's focus set from the results.

| Unique visitors a month | 53 | 693 (13.1×) |
| Page views a month | 95 | about 1,100 |
| Bounce rate | 73.02% | 79.56% |

Source: Squarespace Analytics traffic panels for 1–30 April and 1–31 May 2023, as shown in shakalakaa's May 2023 report. Growth multiples are computed from the two months' values. The bounce rate rose as new, less familiar visitors arrived; it is reported as measured.

## What this means for your wellness brand

The plain-language version. In one month the site went from 63 visits to 782 and from 53 unique visitors to 693 — most of them new to the brand. More of those new visitors left after one page, which is the next thing to work on.
