Dear all,

It has come to our attention that there is/are ongoing scam(s)or phishing attempt(s) being perpetrated using our company and business name, “shakalakaa”, “Plixitt”, “Plixitt Solutions”, or “shakalakaa by Plixitt”. We would like to urge everyone to be vigilant of any ongoing scams. Please note that:

  • We will never request for your financial information via phone calls or any social media channels. All payments will be conducted via Stripe, our payment gateway provider – payment links will be of the domain stripe.com. In certain circumstances, payment will be requested via our official bank account with Maybank Malaysia, OCBC Bank Malaysia or DBS Bank Ltd, or via DuitNow QR or PayNow QR, or via JomPay bearing our full company name “Plixitt Solutions”. We never accept payments to any personal bank accounts that do not bear our company name.
  • We do not conduct any unsolicited recruitment activities and our Talent and Culture Team will not contact any person without first receiving an official application through our Career Application Form or via the official JobStreet or Hiredly pages of Plixitt Solutions.
  • We will never request you to provide us with your personal information via phone calls or any social media channels for any purpose without first receiving an official enquiry from you via any of our contact channels such as WhatsApp, Facebook, Messenger, email, and Live Chat, or our official advertisements run on our official social media pages. In the event of telemarketing, we will only share details on our services, plans, and pricings, and we will never request you to verify or provide any of your personal information.
  • Our staffs and agents will not share their staff or employee identification card with you.

Do not click on suspicious links and never provide any of your personal details or financial information unless you are sure that such requests are indeed from us. Here are some ways to identify whether it is indeed us. If in doubt, please contact us immediately via the contact channels listed on our official website at https://shakalakaa.my/contact/ to seek clarification.

  • All phone calls from us will only be made from the number +6016 299 2230.
  • Emails from us will only be sent from email addresses with the domains @shakalakaa.com, @shakalakaa.my or @plixitt.com.
  • Our official social media channels are Facebook at @shakalakaa.my, Instagram at @shakalakaa.my, and X (Twitter) at @shakalakaaMY.
  • We have multiple WhatsApp numbers:
    • shakalakaa by Plixitt (+6016 299 2230) – This is our official WhatsApp number.
    • Plixitt Notifications (+6018 345 5169) – This is an unmonitored WhatsApp account used to deliver notifications only.
    • shakalakaa Social Media – There are multiple numbers associated with this display name. However, you will only receive a message from us at this WhatsApp account if you are our client with an active subscription.
  • Our official portals and web links will be of the domains shakalakaa.com, shakalakaa.my or plixitt.com.
  • All Google Forms are created via our official Google Workspace account. Scroll to the bottom of the form and check for the disclaimer “This form was created inside Plixitt Solutions”.

If you have been an unfortunate victim of any scams, we urge and encourage you to lodge an official report with the local authorities on the matter at the earliest. Keep a copy or screenshot of all communications with the scammer as evidence. Please also notify us if you come across any scams involving our business or company name.
