What the extension does
The extension shows a small overlay on Meta Ads Manager and Google Ads pages (and a popup available anywhere) where you can manually enter your own cost-per-lead figure, pick a market and industry, and see how it compares to the publicly published shakalakaa Digital Ad Cost Index.
What data we collect
None. The extension does not read, scrape, log, or transmit anything from the pages you visit — not your ad account data, not your campaign performance, not your browsing history.
The only information it ever sends anywhere is the market/industry/figure you manually type into the overlay, sent as a single read-only request to our own public benchmark API (shakalakaa.my/api/benchmarks.php) to fetch the comparison range.
That figure is not stored on our server, logged, or associated with you in any way — it's used only to compute the comparison shown back to you in that moment.
Local storage, on your device only
The extension's popup remembers your last-picked market and industry using your browser's local storage, on your device only — this is never sent to us or anyone else.
Permissions
The extension requests no browser permissions beyond host access to shakalakaa.my/api/benchmarks.php (to fetch benchmark data) and the specific Ads Manager domains it displays an overlay on. It cannot read your tabs, browsing history, cookies, or any other site's data.
Third parties
We don't share, sell, or transmit any data to third parties — there is no data to share, since none is collected.
