Who we work with

Large Malaysian brands, listed groups and regional platform companies. Where a client has agreed to be named, we name them.

Among them: the Sunway Serene 2 launch funnel for Sunway Property, a 24-month social media partnership with Sunway International School, the EV-charging station design and launch campaign for TNB Electron, product marketing for the EV chargers of TSG, the Tenaga Nasional subsidiary that supplies TNB Electron's charger infrastructure, the sustainability communications for UEM Edgenta, cross-border patient search for Pantai Hospital, and a consumer and partner programme for SuperDNA. Each case study sets out what was delivered.

Sectors we have delivered for

Large clients rarely ask whether we can run ads. They ask whether we have done it for an organisation like theirs, under the same approvals and scrutiny. These are the sectors where our Malaysian work is published, and where to see it.

Energy and utilities

For TNB Electron, TNB’s EV-charging arm, we designed the charging stations in 3D and ran the launch campaign; we also handle product marketing for the EV chargers of TSG, the Tenaga Nasional subsidiary that supplies TNB Electron’s charger infrastructure. Private hospitals and healthcare groups

For Pantai Hospital Malaysia we run cross-border search for international patients, measured as appointments through the International Patient Centre; for SuperDNA, non-branded search for a genetic testing laboratory. Pantai Hospital case study · SuperDNA case study · Healthcare marketing

Property developers

For Sunway Serene 2 (Sunway Property) we run Meta ads into a dedicated landing page with a qualifying lead form, with the Conversions API sending real enquiries back to Meta. Sunway Serene 2 case study · Property marketing

Why large brands work with us

One accountable team

Strategy, media buying, content, video and reporting sit with the same people, so a change in the plan reaches the ads, the creative and the landing pages in the same week.

Procurement-ready

A registered vendor of Tenaga Nasional Berhad and a direct vendor of UEM Edgenta Berhad. Contracts are with Plixitt Solutions (BRN 003426311-V), scoped against agreed targets, not sold as a package.

Production in-house

Video, photography, content, AI generative video and AI creative are made by our own team: 2,400+ assets in 2025, reviewed with the people who made them.

Five markets, run separately

Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Australia and Taiwan, each planned and reported on its own terms. Singapore clients can start at our Singapore page for large brands.

Creator management, brand-side

KOL, KOC, UGC and TikTok Shop affiliate programmes run as one workflow: creators sourced and vetted, contracts with usage rights and whitelisting, every post approved before it goes live, and reporting by creator against orders or enquiries. See creator programmes for large brands.

How large Malaysian organisations buy from us

Vendor registration. shakalakaa is a registered vendor of Tenaga Nasional Berhad and a direct vendor of UEM Edgenta Berhad. The contracting entity is Plixitt Solutions (BRN 003426311-V), so your procurement team registers one Malaysian company, not a freelancer network.

Documents for procurement and legal. We supply the company registration, a scope of work written against the targets agreed at scoping, and a description of how personal data from your campaigns is collected, stored and handed over under Malaysia’s PDPA. Ad accounts, pixels, data and creative files stay in your organisation’s name.

Reporting to management. Each business unit or brand gets its own report against the outcomes agreed at scoping, and a monthly management summary rolls them into one view for the marketing head, CMO or board.

How an engagement runs

1

Scoping

We start from the brand's targets, the markets involved and the numbers the business already tracks, then scope the services against them. There is no fixed package.

2

Measurement first

Tracking is set up before spend scales: server-side conversion events such as the Meta Conversions API, qualifying lead forms, and hand-offs into the client's CRM or WhatsApp line.

3

Reporting

Each market is reported on its own, against the outcomes agreed at scoping: qualified leads, booked appointments, orders or return on ad spend.

Questions large clients ask

Do you work with listed companies and government-linked companies?

Yes. shakalakaa is a registered vendor of Tenaga Nasional Berhad and a direct vendor of UEM Edgenta Berhad, and has delivered work for Pantai Hospital and Sunway Property. Contracts are with Plixitt Solutions (BRN 003426311-V).

Can you work through our procurement process?

Yes. Vendor registration, contracting and scoping against agreed targets are routine for our large accounts. Tell us what your procurement team needs and we will prepare it.

How should we evaluate an agency before a pitch?

Start with the checklist in our guide to choosing a marketing agency in Malaysia, then score what your current agency's monthly report leads with in the agency report auditor. Both are useful whether or not you shortlist us.

Is production done in-house?

Yes. Video production, photography, content creation, AI generative video and AI creative are made by our own team. We produced more than 2,400 creative assets in-house in 2025.

Can you run more than one market?

Yes. We serve Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Australia and Taiwan, and plan and report each market separately. This page covers marketing for large brands in Malaysia; Singapore clients can start at our Singapore page for large brands.

Which large Malaysian brands do you work with?

Our Malaysian clients include Shopee, TNB Electron and TSG (both in the Tenaga Nasional group), UEM Edgenta, Pantai Hospital, Sunway Property and SuperDNA. Published case studies cover TNB Electron, UEM Edgenta, Pantai Hospital, Sunway Property (Sunway Serene 2) and SuperDNA.

Can you run TikTok Shop and marketplace campaigns for a large brand?

Yes. For Swiss Thomas, RaeLele and MANSPOT one team runs TikTok Shop ads, the creator affiliate programme and live selling together. Monthly TikTok Shop GMV rose 6.2×, 5.4× and 4.7× respectively, as published in each case study.

Can you source and manage creators at scale in Malaysia?

Yes. We source, brief and contract Malay, Chinese and Indian-community creators, handle usage rights and measure the campaign, and cast models and talent for shoots. On the three TikTok Shop accounts above, the creator affiliate programmes run to between 1,450 and 3,400+ active creators.

Who owns the ad accounts, pixel/CAPI and data?

You do. Ad accounts, website pixel, Conversions API configuration and tracking data sit in your name, not ours, and a switchable handover is scoped at contract rather than after a take-down request. See the checklist in how to choose a marketing agency in Malaysia.

How do you report to a CMO or board?

By outcomes, not clicks. For performance accounts we report enquiry, booked, attended and revenue by channel and vertical; the Conversions API and offline conversions push the booked and attended events back into Google and Meta so campaigns learn from the end of the funnel. A monthly management summary pulls the same numbers into one view for a CMO or board.

How do you handle PDPA when following up leads?

Consent is captured on the form or Click-to-WhatsApp opt-in and recorded against the lead, and the follow-up copy is written to Malaysia's PDPA. The free PDPA/DNC checker runs the same review on draft follow-up copy before any outbound message goes out.

How are leads handed from the form to sales?

Leads route from the form or ad into a CRM — or a shared WhatsApp inbox where that is the pipeline — with the ad source attached, so the first reply is quick and the booking is logged against the ad or page it came from. Booked outcomes feed back into Meta Ads and Google Ads as offline conversions.

Do you work with hospital groups under KKM/MDC advertising rules?

Yes. Pantai Hospital is our named proof; the hospital-group programme is scoped and reported by department and location, and every ad, page and post is drafted to the KKM and MDC advertising rules before review rather than after. See the Pantai Hospital case study.
