Why "leads" and "consults" aren't the same number
Most clinics budget from a lead target, but the number that actually matters is consults needed — a lead is just an enquiry, and only a fraction of enquiries become booked, attended consultations, which is itself only a fraction of what becomes a signed Invisalign case. Working backward from your target case volume through your actual close rate reveals a monthly consult requirement that's usually far higher than clinics initially assume, which is exactly why campaigns budgeted from raw lead counts under-deliver on cases.
Where these numbers come from
Case value and cost-per-lead ranges are drawn from aggregated performance data across the Malaysian dental accounts we manage directly. Your own case fee and close rate drive the rest of the calculation — those vary too much clinic-to-clinic to benchmark meaningfully, which is why the calculator asks for them directly rather than assuming an industry average.
