The Best SEO Company in Malaysia for Your Business (2026): Seven Agencies, Compared Honestly

By shakalakaa team  ·  Published 02 October 2026

Performance marketing, content and technology specialists for Malaysian businesses, from single-site operators to multi-site groups and listed companies.

A criteria-led comparison of seven Malaysian SEO companies for 2026, built from each agency's own site, with shakalakaa included and disclosed.

Quick answer: There is no single best SEO company in Malaysia, only the best fit. Of the seven compared here, Rankpage and BThrust lead on AI search, Exabytes bundles SEO with hosting, SEO.my prices by keyword difficulty, VeecoTech pairs SEO with software builds, LOCUS-T offers a 30% page-one target, and shakalakaa measures SEO in orders and appointments.

Before the list: shakalakaa is one of the seven. We have said exactly where we fit and where we do not, so you can weigh it or skip it. Everything about the other six comes from that agency’s own website, read on 2 October 2026.

Search for the best SEO company in Malaysia and most of the results are agencies ranking themselves first. That is not much use if you have a budget to commit and a shortlist to make. So this page compares seven on the things that decide whether SEO pays: what the agency is built to deliver, how deep it goes technically, whether it covers AI search (Google’s AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Gemini), whether it publishes its prices, and which kind of business it suits.

Nobody paid to be on this list, and nobody was asked.

Rankpage — AI Search Built Into the Offer

Rankpage describes itself as an SEO agency built on “Systematic strategy, Sustainable search rankings and Scalable AI visibility”, with ten years of expertise. Beside technical, local, e-commerce, international and enterprise SEO, it sells answer-engine and generative-engine optimisation for ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity as core services rather than add-ons. It publishes three monthly packages on its site. Pick it if being named inside AI answers matters to you as much as the blue links.

Exabytes — SEO From Your Hosting Provider

Exabytes is best known for hosting, and its site says it has served more than 160,000 businesses over 26 years. Its SEO service covers on-page and off-page work, local SEO, audits and content, plus what it calls LLM AI search optimisation. Its three published packages each come with a guarantee on how many keywords reach Google’s first page within twelve months. Read those terms closely: a page-one guarantee is not a #1 guarantee, and Google itself says no one can guarantee a #1 ranking.

SEO.my — Priced by How Hard Your Keywords Are

Based in Bukit Bintang, Kuala Lumpur, SEO.my prices its monthly tiers by keyword difficulty, from “Easy” up to a custom “Extreme” tier, and publishes those tiers on its homepage. It is also one of the few Malaysian firms that openly sells white-label SEO to other agencies, web designers and hosting providers, with branded reports. Its homepage lists founder awards, including SOBA 2024 Young Entrepreneur of the Year.

VeecoTech — SEO From a Software House

Established in 2011 and based at KL Gateway, VeecoTech is a software and mobile-app developer first. Its marketing arm runs SEO, AEO and Google Ads. Its site lists Intel, Guardian, FGV, IJM and Gamuda among its clients, and states MSC status, ISO certification and MDEC Digital Partner status. It does not publish SEO prices. It fits a corporate buyer who wants the agency that builds the site to also be accountable for how it ranks.

BThrust — Low Entry Point, AI Search Included

BThrust has run SEO since 2014 from KL Eco City. Its services cover AI SEO and generative-engine optimisation, local, technical, e-commerce and international SEO, and link building. It publishes three monthly packages, the lowest entry point on this list, and states Google Partner status and Clutch recognition. Its service list also includes casino SEO, which some brands will want to know before they shortlist.

LOCUS-T — A Page-One Target in Writing

Petaling Jaya-based LOCUS-T runs a classic SEO programme of site analysis, keyword research, on-page and off-page work, and reporting. Its distinctive offer is contractual: it states that 30% of your keywords will reach Google’s first page within twelve months, with a refund if they do not. It does not publish prices on its SEO page. If a written target is what gets your SEO budget approved, this is the one built for that.

shakalakaa — SEO Measured in Orders and Appointments

Our own entry, so plainly: we run SEO against the outcome the business already tracks, not against traffic or keyword counts, and we don’t guarantee rankings. For Pantai Hospital Malaysia, non-branded international organic visitors went from 5,200 to 17,420 a month (+235%), and the hospital reached #1 in four flagship specialty categories. For SuperDNA, non-branded organic visitors went from 3,200 to 12,160 a month and organic kit orders reached 3.2× the baseline. For Activ (Respack), keywords on Google Malaysia’s first page went from 14 to 88.

We also run generative-engine optimisation as its own service, and SEO sits with paid media, content and video in one team. Where we are not the answer: if you want the lowest monthly entry package or a contractual ranking guarantee, others on this list offer exactly that. If you want SEO tied to revenue you can check, see our SEO service in Malaysia.

So Which One?

If AI search is your priority, shortlist Rankpage and BThrust. If you want SEO on the same bill as your hosting, Exabytes. If you are an agency reselling SEO, SEO.my. If the same vendor is building your platform, VeecoTech. If your finance team wants a written page-one target, LOCUS-T. If you want SEO measured in orders, appointments and enquiries, that is where we would argue for ourselves.

Whichever you pick, ask each one the same three questions: which outcome will you report on, what happens each month, and can I see a result from a business like mine with its source. Our guide to choosing a marketing agency in Malaysia has the full checklist, and the agency report auditor scores any agency’s monthly report.

How this list was made: every statement about the other six agencies comes from that agency’s own website, read on 2 October 2026. We have not independently verified their client lists, awards, guarantees or results. Ask each agency for the source behind any claim before you shortlist, and check current prices and terms on their sites, since both change. Comparing performance marketing agencies instead?
