Camtech Health: Diagnostic Test Kit Marketing in Singapore, from SGD 38,000 to SGD 175,000 a Month

Google Search and Performance Max for urgent test-kit demand, Meta Advantage+ for preventive DNA panels, and medical SEO — for Camtech Health, a Singapore point-of-care and at-home diagnostics company, measured in tracked kit orders.

The client

Camtech Health sells point-of-care rapid tests and at-home test kits in Singapore — HPV home screening, IDEAL DNA wellness panels and Flu 5-in-1 respiratory tests — with a companion app that links each kit to the user's results. Two very different buyers share one storefront: someone with symptoms who needs a test today, and someone planning a preventive check.

The problem

At the start of 2026 tracked sales across Google, Meta and organic search were about SGD 38,000 a month. Blended return on ad spend was 1.5×, each order cost SGD 78.50 to acquire, landing pages converted 2.8% of visitors, and the average cart was SGD 64. About 820 kits went out a month.

What we did

  • Two intents, two channels. Google Search captures urgent test-kit searches; Meta builds awareness for preventive DNA panels. Budget rises during respiratory waves and mid-year wellness periods.
  • Bidding structure. Google Search moved to target ROAS once conversion baselines were reached, eight manual Meta interest ad sets consolidated into two Advantage+ Shopping campaigns, and 380+ non-commercial and clinical-definition searches excluded.
  • Ads that match the page. Ad copy aligned to the clinical landing page content lifted Google Ads Quality Score from 6.1 to 8.9 and cut average cost per click by 38%.
  • Bundles and checkout. Respiratory 5-in-1 and complete DNA wellness bundles raised the average cart from SGD 64 to SGD 142; PayNow and GrabPay cut mobile checkout abandonment by 41%; discreet shipping and PDPA assurances address health-privacy concerns.
  • Medical SEO. Clinical guides reviewed by doctors, with MedicalWebPage schema; pillar content linking symptom topics to the relevant kit; pages built for Singapore searches such as HPV test kit Singapore.
  • Server-side tracking. The Meta Conversions API with hashed first-party data under the PDPA and event deduplication, recovering 26.5% more purchase signals; dynamic retargeting for carts left within 14 days.
  • After the purchase. QR onboarding into the Camtech Health App, automated SMS and email reminders for seasonal restocks and annual checks (repeat customer value up 34%), and same-day dispatch messaging for rapid tests.

What this means for your diagnostics company

The plain-language version. In eight months Camtech Health's tracked sales grew from about SGD 38,000 to SGD 175,000 a month. Every dollar of ad spend now returns SGD 4.20 in orders instead of SGD 1.50, each order costs less than half as much to win, and at the peak nearly six times as many kits went out each month.

What this says about shakalakaa: in a regulated Singapore health category we run Google Ads, Meta Ads and SEO as one system, keep claims inside Singapore's health advertising rules, and judge it on orders. See our Singapore healthcare marketing page.
