Xiaohongshu (rednote) is where Singapore's Chinese-speaking consumers actually research before they buy, and — distinctly — where inbound Chinese visitors plan a Singapore trip before they land. Most Singapore brands treat XHS as an afterthought behind Meta and TikTok, or run a Malaysian XHS account extended across the causeway with the same content. Both of those under-serve a genuinely large, high-spending audience with its own benchmarks, its own regulatory answer (MOH, not KKM), and its own content register.
We run Singapore XHS accounts as their own market: separate verification (ACRA documentation, not SSM), separate content threads for the local-consumer and inbound-visitor audiences, and separate benchmarks — the same discipline we apply to every SG channel, not a one-off adjustment.
What's included
- Singapore business verification. ACRA documentation and Chinese-language formatting handled through our XHS verification service, typically a 1–4 week turnaround — the same core process as Malaysian verification, adapted for SG entity registration.
- Two-audience content strategy. Local Chinese-speaking Singaporean consumers and inbound Chinese visitors researching a trip are genuinely different audiences with different intent — built as distinct content threads, not one undifferentiated feed.
- Native Singapore-register content. Written for Singapore tone and local references, not Malaysian Chinese-speaking content re-posted across the causeway — the two audiences read as subtly different, and it shows.
- KOL/KOC seeding. Nano and micro creator seeding scoped for the Singapore market specifically, not Malaysian rates or creator pools applied unchanged.
- MOH/PDPA-aware compliance. For regulated categories (aesthetic and dental clinics), content is checked against MOH's Healthcare Services (Advertisement) Regulations rather than Malaysia's KKM/MDC rules, and any lead data collected is handled under PDPA.
- SGD-scoped reporting. Performance measured against Singapore's own benchmarks once established, not Malaysian figures relabelled in SGD.
