Swiss Thomas: Scaling a Home Appliance Brand from RM 140,000 to RM 812,000 a Month on Meta Ads

Meta Ads for Swiss Thomas, a Malaysian home appliance brand selling air fryers, vacuums and kitchenware direct to consumers: Advantage+ Shopping campaigns, catalogue retargeting, the Conversions API and an in-house UGC creative studio, measured in tracked purchases rather than clicks.

The client

Swiss Thomas is a Malaysian home appliance brand selling air fryers, vacuums and kitchenware direct to consumers through its own online store and marketplaces. Meta — Facebook and Instagram — is where most of its buyers first see a product working, so paid social has to carry both discovery and the sale.

The problem

At the start of 2026 the account ran on a legacy manual setup: twelve fragmented interest campaigns. Meta-attributed revenue was about RM 140,000 a month, every RM 1.00 of ad spend returned RM 1.60, and each order cost RM 36.80 to acquire. The pixel alone was missing purchases from iOS users, so the algorithm was optimising on an incomplete picture.

What we did

  • Advantage+ Shopping consolidation. Twelve fragmented interest campaigns folded into two Advantage+ Shopping structures, giving Meta's bidding enough data to work, with budgets scaled up for Malaysian payday weekends and double-digit mega sales.
  • Catalogue retargeting. Advantage+ catalogue ads retargeting shoppers who added to cart within 14 days, in carousels that feature real customer reviews.
  • The Conversions API. Server-side events set up alongside the Meta pixel, with hashed first-party matching and clean event deduplication, recovering 24% more purchase signals that the pixel had been missing.
  • An in-house creative studio. 320+ assets — problem-solution reels showing spilled coffee, carpet hair and air fryer clean-up, comparison reels and static carousels — with 12 or more new hooks tested every week and 9:16 reels paired with 1:1 carousels to reach lower-cost placements.
  • Mobile checkout. One-tap FPX, Touch 'n Go eWallet and GrabPay added to the mobile landing pages to cut drop-off between click and payment.
  • Bundles and reviews. Accessory bundles — vacuum, spare filter and mop pads — to lift order value, and automated WhatsApp and SMS review requests after delivery that feed fresh social proof back into the ads.

What this means for your home appliance brand

The plain-language version. In eight months Swiss Thomas's Meta-attributed revenue went from about RM 140,000 to RM 812,000 a month. Every RM 1.00 of ad spend now returns RM 4.50 instead of RM 1.60, and each order costs less than half what it did — while the creative that made it work was produced in-house, week after week.

What this says about shakalakaa: we run Meta Ads, creative production and the tracking behind them as one team, and measure it in purchases. The same brand's TikTok Shop results are in our Swiss Thomas TikTok Shop case study, and the approach is set out on our e-commerce marketing page.
