Turning a Selangor Interior Design Firm's Boosted Posts Into a Qualifying Renovation Funnel

A Selangor interior design firm was boosting posts with no tracking and drowning in budget-mismatch enquiries. We built a structured Meta funnel with a project-gallery landing page and a budget-qualification form — and cost per qualified lead dropped.

The client

A Selangor-based interior design firm doing mid-to-high-end residential renovations was getting "leads" — just not useful ones. Their marketing was boosted Facebook and Instagram posts: no campaign structure, no conversion tracking, and an enquiry form that asked for a name and phone number and nothing else. The result was a WhatsApp inbox full of people asking "how much?" with no budget context, and a design team burning hours on consultations that were never going to convert.

The problem

Two issues. First, boosting posts is not a funnel — there was no structured campaign, no audience strategy, and no way to know which content drove which enquiry, because nothing was tracked. Second, and more expensively, there was no qualification. A renovation lead is only valuable if the budget fits the firm's project range, and nothing in the funnel surfaced budget until a designer had already spent time on a call. The genuine cost — cost per qualified lead — was invisible and high.

What we did

  • A structured Meta funnel. We replaced post boosting with proper campaigns — a portfolio-led prospecting layer showcasing completed projects, and a retargeting layer for people who engaged with the galleries or visited the site.
  • A project-gallery landing page. Instead of sending clicks to the profile, we built a landing page that leads with the firm's strongest completed projects — the portfolio is the sales argument for an interior designer — with budget anchoring and a clear WhatsApp CTA.
  • A budget-qualification form. The enquiry form now asks property type and budget band up front, so the team sees a qualified, budget-fit brief before they invest time — and the raw enquiries that don't fit are filtered before they reach a designer.
  • Tracking end to end. Every step is measured, so we optimise toward qualified, budget-fit leads rather than raw form volume.

What this means for your firm

For interior design, the metric that matters isn't cost per lead — it's cost per qualified lead, because an unqualified renovation enquiry costs the design team real hours. Boosting posts optimises for the cheap, wrong number. A structured funnel with a portfolio landing page and a budget-qualification form takes the qualified-lead rate from the bottom of the 30–55% band up toward the top, which is what actually lowered the real cost per usable enquiry — even though the raw CPL barely moved.

If your firm is boosting posts and fielding "how much?" messages with no budget context, this is the same funnel gap. It's the core of our interior design marketing programme.
